Computer Vision / Industrial AI.

A computer-vision pilot that runs on your actual line, your actual lighting, and your actual product — not a clean lab dataset.

Computer-vision pilot for industrial use — defect detection, OCR, inspection, or quality grading.

What you get.

Every deliverable below is included in the scoped engagement — no upsell at handoff.

Working pilotA computer-vision pipeline that runs on your actual production data — your line, your lighting, your products.
Choice of taskDefect detection, OCR, object counting, quality grading, or measurement — chosen based on what your business needs.
Data pipelineImage ingestion, annotation workflow, and the start of a feedback loop so the model improves over time.
Model trainingTrained on your data using PyTorch, YOLO, or a foundation model, depending on data volume and task.
Edge or cloud deployRuns on your edge device, GPU server, or cloud — your choice based on latency and connectivity needs.
Honest performance reportA written report on accuracy, false positives, false negatives, and the conditions where the model fails — so you know what you're buying.

How it works.

The same four-step flow we use across every engagement, scoped to this gig.

Step 1

On-site or data review

We work from your actual images, video, and operating conditions — not synthetic data.

Step 2

Pilot scope

We agree on a measurable pilot success criterion before any model is trained.

Step 3

Train + iterate

Weekly checkpoints showing real performance on a held-out set.

Step 4

Deploy + report

Deployed pilot plus an honest performance report — including where it fails.

Why work with us on this.

Three reasons clients pick Hepha Works for computer vision and industrial ai.

Senior practitioners only

The person who scopes the work is the person who delivers it. No invisible subcontractors, no junior handoffs.

Written scope, fixed price

You see a written scope and a number before any work starts. No timesheet surprises, no scope-creep arguments.

Honest read on outcomes

We won't say it'll work if we don't think it will. If the gig isn't right for your situation, we'll tell you that on the call.

Frequently asked.

The questions we get most before kicking off computer vision and industrial ai engagements.

How much labelled data do I need?

Depends on the task. Defect detection often works with 200 labelled examples; OCR may need a few thousand. We'll tell you on the scoping call.

Can it run offline / on-device?

Yes — we deploy to edge devices (Jetson, Coral, x86 industrial PCs) when latency or connectivity matters.

What happens after the pilot?

If it works, we scope a production engagement. If it doesn't, the report tells you why and what would be needed.

Do you sign NDAs for industrial data?

Always. Industrial data is sensitive — we sign mutual NDAs before any image leaves your premises.

Do you handle the hardware too?

We can recommend camera, lens, and lighting setups but don't sell hardware. We partner with vision integrators when needed.
